One of them was like something out of a late 1990s Robert Rodriguez horror film/dark comedy. I kinda want to tweet about it and tag him. Who knows? He might be interested... It also might interest Kevin Smith, as San Diego Comic-Con was involved, as was a guy who looked like Jason Mewes of Jay & Silent Bob fame.
In this weird-ass dream, I was on my way to SDCC when I had to check into my hotel outside the city... kinda like how we stayed outside of Atlanta for Dragon Con 2016. My hotel shared a property line with a hospital, so when my SDCC-going roommate (played by Jason Mewes) was attacked by bees, we were told to admit him. Turns out, he imagined the bee attack. The hospital was a mental institution, though I didn't know that at the time... and I was trying to get answers, but a doctor (played by Gillian Anderson) kept giving me the runaround. I kept being interviewed by shrinks, which I thought was weird... especially since one of the doctors (who was actually a mental patient, played by Nick Frost) kept trying to take off his clothes during these interviews. Oh! I also forgot one important detail. I took a shower at the hotel and discovered that my male genitals and body hair were missing... That's right, I was a woman in this dream. So... flash-forward to the end. I finally get to the secret off-limits office of the guy running the hospital... and it's the gate to Hell. The Devil is played by Jared Leto, and he kept trying to seduce me. Since I was a woman, I wasn't really surprised by this. There was a lot of dark humor in this dream (though the above description doesn't make it sound so), which is why it reminded me of something like From Dusk Til Dawn or The Faculty... or Dogma. It was definitely strange...
The other was like a high school musical... with elements from The Little Mermaid thrown in, and the warden from Shawshank Prison, and hot '80s pop/rock stars. I guess time travel was also a thing in this dream. So weird. This one wouldn't make an interesting story, but I'm talking about bizarre dreams, so this one certainly fits...
In other news, I updated my tumblr account (https://awesomeroyhudson.tumblr.com; I didn't pick that name, and was just too flattered to change it) with a post that pays tribute to the late, great Adam West. It's 19 days late, but better late than never! I have a grand total of three tumblr posts now. I really need to do more...
Not much else to add. so I'll shut up now. Check out the Adam West tribute! I hope you enjoy it.
