Plus there's the paranormal anthology I've been selected into; and a possible acceptance from an ezine, though I may have screwed the pooch on that by waiting too long with the revisions. We'll see. Still, that's at least ONE publication I can look forward to in the future, plus two more possibilities, all submitted in one month. That just makes me want to submit even more in October!
As I pointed out in the last entry, September has been a big month for me as far as submitting works to publishers go. A few weeks ago I submitted a novel query/sample/synopsis, and last night I received an email requesting the entire manuscript. I assume that they read the synopsis, so the rest of the novel shouldn't disappoint. I take that as a good sign, but the request email made it perfectly clear that such a request was not a guaranteed sale. It also said that I shouldn't expect an answer any sooner than January 1st, 2012. Furthermore, it said iit could be as late as January 2014 when the book sees the light of day. I still jumped on the opportunity and submitted the full MS. After all, I can be very... VERY... patient. I mean, what other choice do I have? hehe Besides, I'll probably forget all about it... or not.
