The first page of Chapter 3 makes 10 pages total. It's word count that beats pages in NaNoWriMo, and I've got about 3000 words thus far. It's a bit challenging having to COPY it from the notebook to the computer (and vice versa), but I can't use a computer at USCA, and I just get distracted on the computer at school. This weekend I have a LOT to do, such as my first segment in a collaborative fiction work, plus my homework/quiz/test in Statistics (due Tuesday), and somehow I also have to ATTEMPT 1600 words a day. I stayed up late last night finishing Chapter 2, and I think I'll stay up late tonight, too. I'll keep at it and hopefully I'll pass the 5000-word mark before tomorrow. Wish me luck!
It's hard finding motivation (and also TIME), but yesterday I took 90 minutes in a room by myself at school and nearly finished the second chapter of Hyding Out, then last night I DID. I had been writing in a notebook, but last night I got frustrated and typed it out and finished Chapter 2 on the computer. Today I printed out the last couple pages of Chapter 2 and the beginning of Chapter 3 to put in the notebook. I find it easier to write without distraction in the notebook while at school.
