And since the Facebook shorts I submitted to Short, Fast, and Deadly will not be published in their March issue, I shall share them here:
Facebook Apocalypse
By Roy Hudson
At first, it was nice catching up on all the global chaos via smartasses on Facebook:
“Paris burns again.”
“Tokyo falls, not to Godzilla.”
“Australia powerless; grim future for AC/DC.”
But, “Auschwitz reopened for zombies,” freaked me out. I remember the panic of half the world committing suicide at once and not dying. Then we turned on them out of fear. Damn human nature.
Hurricane Zed
By Roy Hudson
One rainy day, I posted a joke on Facebook: "Rainy days and zombies always get me down.” Two friends "liked" it. One friend commented that she liked my version better than the original. And then the rain turned into a hurricane that distur of zombies buried at sea, bringing them to shore. I hate irony.
Zombie Press

__________’s Author Page
I got my manuscript back today. It had bite marks on it and the words, “Needs more brains,” scrawled in red. I hope that’s ink. And here I thought “Zombie Press” was just a cool name. I guess it just goes to show everyone’s a fucking critic.

Phantom of the Subway
By Roy Hudson
Gus floated before his computer. He wanted to post to Facebook, “Help! I’m dead,” but his fingers could not press down on the keys. He then floated to the subway to look for a mentor, like in the film Ghost. The Reaper put a halt to those plans, though. Gus wound up riding a train straight to Hell.
