But anyway, I felt like I may do well on the test, though I knew that since I almost had a B average (78.9), unless I flunked it with a 50 or lower, I'd still pass the class with a C. I got 60%, which by Aiken Tech's standards is a D-. A D average for a class means you didn't get an F to damage your GPA, but if it's a required course, you have to repeat the class. Since the final weighs more on the overall grade than the other tests, it brought my test average down to 68%, but with a 70% quiz grade and a 94% homework grade, my final overall average was 74.4. I PASSED (with a C, but I welcome a C any old day of the week). When I got a C in Algebra, it was because my teacher took pity on me. I had an overall average of 69.0. Usually, a ".0" means it stays at that number. But, Mrs Rickabaugh knew I was about to cry, so she rounded it up. hehe But with Statistics, I kept up with the homework, passed all the other tests (with Cs), and barely had a passing average on those evil quizzes. I felt I did well in that class, and it shows with the final average.
Now that I'm done with my last math requirement, I'll FINALLY have my Associate's degree, and now the only general education credit I need for my BA are two foreign language classes. That's gonna be hard, but I'll manage.
In other news, I found a pretty cool name I could self-apply should I write a fictional first-person account about a writer, such as Ray Bradbury has done in three of his novels. I saw one of those writing memes to "find your 6 names," and one of them was a Star Wars name. Take the first three letters of your last name, first two letters of your middle name, first two letters of your first name, and last three letters of your last name. Mine was "hudharoson," which sounds like "Hud Harrison" when pronounced. That would make for a great character name.
I have first-person stories by fictional writers, and a few novels in which they play a role; I could change their names and make them the adventures of one writer named Hud Harrison. That would be cool, since they're all an extension of me, anyway. hehe
Well, I promised my Facebook/Twitter followers I'd post Dasher #4 on Friday, and today's Friday, so I'd better get started. Next post, coming up!
